Lancaster Livestock Auction: Lancaster Hill Fair Day, Friday 10th October 2025.

The rescheduled Hill Fair Day saw a full ringside of buyers keen to secure all classes of sheep, attracted by the variety on offer.
The sale commenced with breeding rams which saw Texel shearlings sell to £700 from PD Pye with others £650 from RT&ME Sutton, others were generally £480 to £550. Mule shearlings from M&YS Barker sold to £270 and £260, with all sold averaging £246.An eye-catching consignment of Pure Texel shearlings from S&G Mellor sold to £460 with others 3420. Badger Faced Welsh ewes from JRP Hughes sold at £85. Mule gimmer lambs sold to £140, averaging £135 and store lambs averaged £111.
