The final sale of 2019 saw a total of 1716 lots forward selling to a full crowd of local and travelled buyers, attracted by the quality, quantity and variety of items on offer.
A feature of the sale was the impressive line-up of 25 tractors, vehicles and quad bikes. These sold to a top price of £5100 for a 67 plate Polaris Ranger with a Bobcat 453 achieving £2600 as did a JCB Mini Digger. A DAF 7.5T lorry sold at £2200 and a Siromer compact tractor achieved £2100. Vehicles sold to £1600 for a Mazda double cab, £1050 Izuzu Trooper and £1000 for a Nissan Cabstar truck. Tractors sold to £1080 for a David Brown 995 and £1050 for a Leyland 344, quad bikes sold to £920 for a Honda Big Red.
Agricultural machinery saw keen interest from both farmer and trade buyers. A Bamford flail topper achieved £1200, vacuum tanker £1000, muck grab £950, snow plough £620, Siromer topper £610, disc harrows, £500, rear tractor wheels £500, New Holland front weights £440.
Livestock equipment sold to £780 for a cattle crush, sheep weigh scales £390, sheep snacker £300, cow weigh platform £220, sheep turnover create £190, sheep hurdles £120, liquid feeders £120.
A large selection of trailers sold to £4100 for a 14T tipping trailer, £2350 was achieved for a 16ft Ifor Williams flatbed trailer with another achieving £2250. A high sided Ifor Williams plant trailer sold at £1900. Livestock trailers sold to £1750 for an 8ft Ifor Williams complete with decks, with a 12ft trailer selling at £1700. A new ATV trailer sold at £490.
A 20ft twin axel bale trailer sold at £1900 with a 45ft arctic trailer selling for £1520 and a 42ft arctic trailer £1450.
Other items of interest included a diesel compressor achieved £2050, hydraulic breaker £600, 3T trailer £500, Foster digger £400 and 1 ton of slate £250.
