Due to the severe weather endured on the run-up to the sale, there were fewer lots forward for the sale with just 247 going under the gavel. The crowds flocked forward for this sale with a large crowd ensuring a strong trade throughout and only 14 items were unsold, giving a very good clearance rate.
Large items on the yard met plenty of demand, selling to a top of £6,300 for a 2010 Claas Liner 2900 rowing up machine. As people are now looking towards the summer months a 1989 MF822 Bett Round Baler sold for £750. A Drain Jetter sold to £1,800. A few quad bikes on the yard saw a Honda TRX 350cc year 2002 sell to £1,550 with other Honda quad bikes to £1,300. Trailers of all specifications always create plenty of interest at J36 with only a few forward this week they topped at £1,300 for Ifor Williams GD64.
All items inside were very well bid for ranging from Garden equipment and tools, small tools and implements to household equipment and vintage items as well. The trade inside topped at £210 for a Stihl Saw. Vintage oil dispensers sold to £180, wacker plates selling to £140 and Lawnmowers topping at £130.
