J36 Crooklands Livestock Auction: J36 Fortnightly Sale of In-Lamb Sheep and Store Hoggs, Thursday 15th January 2026.

IN LAMB SHEEP

The opening sale of in lamb sheep saw a large crowd of potential buyers in attendance keen to secure additional and replacement stock.
The annual consignment from N Brown, Littledale set the day selling Cheviot Mule shearlings in lamb to a Suffolk, due April sell to £260 with others at £240, 2 crop North Country Mule ewes from the same home sold at £230.
A flock reduction of 4/5 crop Mule ewes due March to Texel from P Whitton & Son, Burneside sell to £225 with other pens £220 (x2), £210 (x2). Aged Texel x ewes from JR Robinson & Son, Nook carrying twins sold at £200. Aged ewes scanned at 130% selling at £120 - £155. Welsh ewes scanned for twins £150. A pen of Mule hoggs due April sold at £190.

In lamb sheep will be sold every fortnight at 10:30 am.
