Prime Lambs
A good show of 1600 well fleshed lambs and cast sheep were put before a full ringside of buyers. Men returning to sell in the live ring created a very pleasing trade for all classes of lambs. Trade topped at 197p/kg from P & TL Edmondson of Low Hall and a top price per head of £83 for a pen of Texel x Lambs from AW & AM Clarke of Low Longmire.

Cast Sheep
A larger show of cast sheep were forward seeing a slightly firmer trade on the week, yet buyers were still very cautious for over fat ewes. Sheep topped at £160 per head for a pair of Texel rams from R & E Ladds of Benson Hall.
