NWA Lancaster held it’s opening collective sale of Machinery, Tools and equipment which was greeted by a large crowd of buyers and saw a large range of items offered for sale.
Farm machinery sold to a top price of £1200 for a Grassland Slitter with a Tegal 4040 Round Bale Straw Chopper selling to £900, 3ton tipping trailer to £280 and a Slurry Stirrer to £220. Several hay making items sold above expectation with a PZ hay bob achieving £400 and Fhar Centipede selling for £320.
A large entry of seasonal livestock equipment saw a logic sheep snacker selling for £220, lamb creep feeders sell to £180 which was also achieved for Lamb weight scales. Sheep hay racks sold to £120 with cattle feed troughs selling at £110. Lamb adopters sold to £100 and Cattle feed barriers sold to £70.
Several lots of builder’s equipment were forward today selling to £240 for a JCB Power Pack, 160 Wacker Plate, £100 Marine Ply (5 Sheets), £90 for a quantity of box section steel.
Other items of interest included a dog kennel selling at £80, large step ladders selling for £50, 48 PC Spanner Set £40, Bags of logs for £40, a stuffed red squirrel for £5 and a kitchen sink for £8.
