Lancaster machinery saw an increased entry of over 300 lots forward.

The vehicle section saw a MF 240 tractor top the sale at £3900 with other vehicles to £1700 for a Mitsubish Shogun.

Well maintained agricultural machinery and equipment were easily sold with seasonal items in keenest demand. A Strutmann Vetimix 1700 mixer wagon sold to £2700 and a Manitou bucket to £650. Sheep equipment was in strong demand today, with a sheep race to £360 and sheep hurdles to £170 for a pack of 10, sheep hayracks were to £160.

The sale of small tools saw a good interest amongst buyers, with well-maintained items again easy to sell. A Honda wacker plate topped at £110 with sheep netting to £90. A run of ladders topped at £50.
