North West Auctions had the pleasure of conducting the farm dispersal sale on behalf of L Goodier & Son, Old Hall Farm, Preston. A superb field of well-maintained machinery attracted a large crowd of local and travelled buyers, with the addition of internet bidding allowing buyers from Ireland and further a field to compete for and purchase items.
The line up of tractors saw a John Deere 6630 complete with loader remain local, achieving £43,000, Case 844xl 4WD selling to £5400, a David Brown 995 (owned from new) achieving £2600 and Massey Fergus 30E industrial loader £2200. A John Deere Gator (which had one careful lady owner) achieved £6800 and an immaculate Honda ATV sold at £6000.
Farm machinery sold to £4500 for a 25ft Marshall bale trailer, £3000 Cambridge roller, £2600 Marshall tipping trailer, Ifor Williams Livestock trailer £2300. Other items of interest included a 5T feed bin selling at £1600, KRM press £1500, McHale bale squeezer £900, £ATV sheep snacker £680, pallet tines £500, sheep walk through troughs £220, lamb creep feeder £260, milk churns £150 and stone trough £140.
