The popular monthly collective sale of machinery saw over 1500 lots offered for sale with 380 buyers successful this month from all corners of the UK.
An impressive line up of 24 tractors, vehicles and ATV’s attracted much interest with a Merlo P3513 Telehandler selling at £11,800 with a 57reg Land Rover Defender direct from a local farmer achieving £11,300. Other vehicles included a Mitsubishi L200, selling at £4,900 and a David Brown 990 2WD tractor in original condition achieving £3000 and a Fordson Dexta Tractor £1100.
A large selection of ATV’s sold to £1650 for a Honda Big Red with another at £1500 which was also achieved for a TGB600. Other 4x4 ATV’s generally achieving £900-£1300.
Over 40 trailers were entered for this sale selling to £3600 for a 4T Marshall Tipping Trailer, with other farm trailers £1300 & £1200. Livestock trailers sold to £3200 for a 12ft Ifor Williams with decks and a Ifor Williams cattle trailer at £2700 and a 10ft Ifor Williams trailer at £2400. Plant trailers sold to £1850 with others at £1200.
Well maintained machinery continues to sell to a premium with a Marshall M575 spreader £2700, slurry pump £2100, opico sward lifter £1400, 8ft land roller £840, slurry injector £820, single rota rake £800 and slurry stirrer £740.
Livestock equipment sold to £560 for a cattle race, Hamington sheep trailer £1500, foot trimming crush £420, hay racks £300, Solway sheep pens £280 and sheep feed barriers £260.
Other items of interest included a tracked dumper achieving £1700, Gas ‘AGA’£2100, Post Knocker £720, Buck Rake £560, scaffolding tower £440, 3ft Ransomes plough £320 and saw bench £280.
The next sale of machinery will see delivery on Monday 28th February, Tuesday 1st March, Wednesday 2nd March.
