NWA J36 Monthly Machinery Sale
North West Auctions held its popular monthly collective machinery sale at NWA J36 which saw an entry in excess of 1500 lots offered for sale and all sold in just over 3.5 hours.
This sale continues to grow in popularity with buyers in attendance from throughout the UK and Ireland; 274 successful buyers today.
The sale of agricultural vehicles saw 13 tractors and quad bikes offered for sale and selling to £17,000 for a Zetor Major 80 tractor with power loader from a local farmer to another local farmer. A MF 8130 tractor achieved £10,000 and a Ford 2120 selling at £2250. A Polaris Ranger sold at £2650, Honda TRX Quad £2150 and a Honda 2WD ATV achieving £650.
The vehicles in today’s sale totalled 15 with a 75% clearance rate achieved. Vehicles sold to £2300 for a Mitsubishi Shogun SWB, £1200 for a Vauxhall Astra Van, £880 Suzuki Grand Vitara, with several small engined cars selling at £200 - £600.
Agricultural machinery and equipment sold to £4100 for a slurry tanker, 13ft land roller £730, bale trailer £550, small tipping trailer £600, cultivation discs £480, haybob £440, muck spreader £400, yard scraper £400. Livestock equipment sold to £700 for a cattle race, cattle foot trimming crush £450, sheep turnover crate £250, lamb creep feeder £250, 32 cow cubicles £240, calf dehorning crate £180, lamb weigh scales £170, pig arc £170.
A large selection of trailers sold to £1300 for a calf/sheep trailer, £1150 Ifor Williams horse trailer, £1000 Cheval Liberte Horse Trailer, Ifor Williams 12ft cattle trailer £780, Ifor Williams 10ft livestock trailer, £600 flatbed plant trailer.
Other items of interest included a pan mixer selling at £1300, 14ft cattle grid £1020, forklift truck £980, 4 berth caravan £900, aluminium loading ramps £680, ride-on lawn mower £410, tractor weights £380, mig welder £380, 20ft steel girders £100.
The inside auction saw over 800 lots offered for sale with there being something for everyone.
The next sale of machinery at NWA J36 is Saturday 4th April to include a special section for builders tools, machinery, equipment and materials. Also plants, shrubs and trees on this day.
