J36 Machinery Sale: J36 Machinery Sale, Saturday 1st February 2020

The largest entry to date of over 1600 lots, attracted a large crowd of buyers from throughout the UK with the sale concluded by 1.30pm. Several new customers were in attendance attracted by the quality and quantity of items on offer with several items finding a new home overseas.

A large entry of tractors and vehicles once again attracted a large crowd of eager bidders with a 70% clearance rate achieved. The sale topped at £17,500 for a Landrover Defender 110 Station Wagon in excellent condition. A Mercedes Sprinter refridgerated van sold at £1900. A Transit van achieved £1150 and a Nissan Navara pick-up £1100.

A full clearance was achieved on the tractors selling to £7100 for a show condition MF 230 with a MF 135 selling at £4100, MF 1250 Compact tractor £3400, David Brown 4WD £3200, Siromer 204S 4WD Compact tractor sold for £2750.

Other vehicles of interest included a Mercedes 815 horsebox to carry 4 large horses sold at £5150, Thwaites IT high tip dumper £3200, Kawasaki mule £1300 and a Kawasaki quad £600.

Well maintained equipment and machinery continues to sell to a premium to both private and trade buyers.

Trailers sold to £2200 for an Ifor Williams 16ft plant trailer, £2150 for a 10ft Ifor Williams livestock trailer, £1700 Ifor Williams 14ft plant trailer, £1250 8T tipping trailer, £1250 calf/sheep trailer, £1000, MF 3T tipping trailer.

Agricultural machinery sold to £1950 for a 1600 gallon tanker, hydraulic post knocker £1120, 10ft muck grab £900, Kelquip tanker £900, 6ft muck grab £825, ATV trailer £470.

Livestock equipment sold to £1220 for an IAE cattle foot trimming crush, Solway sheep pends £670, sheep snacker £370, Foster sheep transport box £350, sheep turnover crate £320, sheep scales £310, root feeding bucket £270.

Building tools and equipment sold to £560 for a diesel generator, £320 compressor, £310 hydraulic breaker, £300 4ft digger bucket, £270 steam cleaner, Lister generator £220, tip skips £210, £190, work platform £190 and pallet tines £180.

Other items of interest included a tyre changer selling at £600, garden shredder £455, dog pen £260, indoor racing go carts to £280, £260 and PTO saw bench £150.

Customers are encouraged to pre-enter items for the machinery sales and forward photographs where possible.
