North West Auctions held its monthly machinery sale on Saturday 7th September, which saw over 1500 lots forwards with buyers in attendance from throughout the United Kingdom.

Machinery items sold to £3000 for a Spearhead hedge trimmer, £1800, 8T tipping trailer, £1700 highlift trailer, £1650 Storth slurry stirrer, £1550 hay turner, £1180 mini bale wrapper and £850 McHale wrapper.

Livestock equipment sold to £2550 for an Ifor Williams DB120 trailer, £1850 Ifor Williams 12ft trailer, £1400 IAE cattle crush, £600 cattle yard gates and posts, £540 sheep footbath and pen, £500 Barley roller, cattle feed barriers £350, lamb weigh scales £350.

A quality entry of vehicles saw a 2011 Landrover 110 sell at £5850, 2003 Landrover 110 £4600, 2007 Ford Ranger £2400, 2005 Landrover Discovery £2200, Ford Fiesta van £1300, Kia Sorento £650 and a Suzuki Jimney £620.

Over 500 lots of inside tools and machinery saw gardening equipment sell to £100 for strimmers and lawnmowers. Building tools sold to £200 for cement mixers, £140 whacker plates with plenty of power tools £20 - £30.

Poorer quality items were harder to sell and we ask vendors to be selective when entering inside items.
