The July sale of Farm Machinery, Tools and Equipment saw the largest entry to date, with over 1500 lots offered for sale. As always well maintained items and seasonal equipment was in keen demand with buyers in attendance from throughout the UK.

A feature of today’s sale was a line-up of 26 vehicles which attracted a large crowd of farmers and trade buyers, with 20 being sold. A John Deere 2650 4WD Tractor with Loader sold at £6350 and a MF575 2WD Tractor £2600. Other agricultural vehicles included Kubota RTV900s achieving £4400 and £2100 and a Kawasaki Mule sold at £1200.

A large selection of 4 x 4 vehicles and vans saw a top price of £4750 paid for a Landrover Discovery (59 plate), £1600 for a Mitsubishi Shogun (M Reg), £1550 for a Ford Ranger Pick Up (05 plate). A 7.5T, (V reg) Horse Box sold for £700, Quad Bike £680, Citreon Van £420, Jeep Cherokee £410 and a Kia Sorento £350.

Machinery items sold to £2675 for a Bamford Hedge Cutter, £2100 Claas Twin Rake, £2000 Claas 255 Rollant Baler, £1200 Fella Tedder, £920 Weed Wiper and £880 Krone Mower.

Other items of interest included 4 boxes of Green Slate achieving £1600, Ride-on Mower £950, ATV Topper £910, Hudson Livestock Trailer £1200, Artic Trailer Body £700, Pan Mixer £680, Calf Pens £500 and a Tipping Trailer £450.

Builders machinery and equipment sold to £400 for a Generator, MACC Bench Grinder £340, Pressure Washer £310, Hilti Breaker £300, Whacker Plate £280, Pipe Bender £200, Stihl Hedge Cutter £180, Security Fencing £160, Petrol Floor Float £140 and a Decorators Tressel £100.

The next sale at J36 will be on Saturday 3rd July to include a special section for builders’ tools and equipment.
