Prime Pigs Sell to £110 at NWA J36
The fortnightly sale of pigs at NWA J36 saw a sale topping price of £110 achieved for well finished Large White x gilts and hogs from D Nicholson, Cockermouth who sold others at £102, £95. Regular consignor, W Stamper, Chipping sold the best of her Large White gilts at £98. Coloured pigs sold to £80 for Saddleback boars from HMP Wymott, Preston.
Store and weaner pigs all sold to a very limited interest.
