The Vehicle section saw 12 offered for sale with 9 successfully being sold. A Kubota L4630 Tractor complete with Loader sold at £10,700; a Leyland 242 2WD Tractor achieving £3,500; a John Deere 850D Gator £3,400; a Terex 1100 Dumper £3,300; a Mercedes Sprinter LW Van £3,100 and a Mercedes Sprinter Van £850.
Several trailers selling to £1,950 for an Ifor Williams DP120 Livestock Trailer; a 16’ Ifor Williams Plant Trailer £1,250; Ifor Williams 8’ Sheep/Calf Trailer £1,200; Ifor Williams 12’ Plant Trailer £880 and a Bateson Flatbed Trailer £700.
Well maintained agricultural machinery and equipment were easily sold with seasonal items in keenest demand. A Slurry Tanker sold at £1,150, Kidd Straw Chopper £1,000; IAE Calf Creep Feeder £800; 4T Tipping Trailer, Loader Bucket and Cattle Crush all £400 and a Muck Grab £250.
Builders equipment sold to £1,850 for a mobile compressor; Terex Road Roller £500; Pressure Washer £380; Workshop Heater £220; Arctic Trailer £200; Scaffolding £19; Whacker Plate £150; Tip Skip £130; Pallet Trucks £90; Plywood Boards £85.
The sale of small tools at the inside auction saw over 500 lots offered, with well-maintained items in a ‘complete’ condition easiest to sell with poorer quality items, harder to sell. Vendors are encouraged to be selective of items when entering them for the inside auction.
Today also saw a sale of plants, shrubs & trees with a wide variety on offer and certainly giving buyers an opportunity to get value for money.
