The May Lancaster Dairy sale received a smaller entry this month, due to the time of year a little with many farmers busy in the fields; this was also reflected in the buyers around the ring, as fewer people around today however the buyers who were present were certainly there to do business!
The show was kindly judged by John Metcalfe of Crossfell Holsteins, the sponsors for the day were John Cornthwaite, Wynnstay, J Hatton Agriculture, Zoetis & Elanco.
Although numbers were thinner on the ground this was not a reflection of quality as the sale was brimming with great animals with dairy strength.
