North West Auctions Machinery Sale – Largest Sale To Date


North West Auctions held its monthly collective sale of machinery which saw the largest entry to date of over 1100 lots offered for sale with successful bidders from all four of the home nations and on the continent.


The sale this month boasted a super line up of 12 modern and vintage tractors which saw a Fendt Farmer 310LS 2WD achieve £8500 to a collector. An International 785XL sold at £5100 and an International 674 achieved £3200. A much sought after Leyland 154 industrial sold at £2400, an International 434 (Amplifier model) sold for £1800 and a 1951 Grey Ferguson with loader £780.  Other vehicles included a Bobcat selling at £3000, Honda ATV £1700, MF Quad £1100, 1 ton dumper £600 and a Ford van £480.

Over 20 trailers were lotted with an 18T Marshall silage trailer selling at £2800, Ifor Williams tipping plant trailer £2600, Ifor Williams power tipping trailer £1500, 30ft bale trailer £1500 and a calf trailer £920.

Tankers sold to £3100 for a Star 1300, £2000 Abbey tanker, muck spreaders achieved £1100 for a JF rear discharge and £680 for a Frazer 750 side spreader.
Seasonal items sold to £2300 for a Pottinger Tedder, £1500 Lely 280 mower, £1500 Kverneland power harrow, £1500 Vogel topper, £1400 4F plough, £1100 Opico grass harrows, £1100 Teagle fertiliser spinner, £940 mounted chain harrows, £940 push off buck rake.

Other items of interest included a Keenan diet feeder selling at £2400, Bailey caravan £1,700, mobile sheep handling system £1600 air compressor £1500, £1300 cattle weigh crush, £760 Redrock shear grab, £720 PZ hay bob, £640 mole plough £620 MF945 loader.

Over 500 lots of workshop tools, machinery and garden equipment were entered for the auction with a generator achieving £380, Honda rotavator £340, Stihl chainsaw £340, ride-on mower £260, JCB hydraulic power breaker £220, pressure washer £180, 20T jack £180, wacker plate £160 and scaffolding tower £160.

Delivery of items for the next machinery sale is strictly 7th, 8th and 9th April, with the sale commencing on Wednesday 14th and concluding on Monday 19th April.
