OVER 1400 LOTS SOLD AT POPULAR MONTHLY MACHINERY SALE
North West Auctions held its popular monthly collective machinery sale, which once again attracted a large entry of items with an ever-increasing level of buyer interest and several lots selling to overseas customers. This sale boasted a line up of over 30 tractors, diggers and vehicles, both vintage and modern.
A New Holland TS90 4WD direct from a local farmer achieved £14,500, with a Case CX100 also direct from another local farmer achieving £9500. A Massey Ferguson 3080 sold at £4600, with older tractors selling at £3600 for a Massey Ferguson 35, International 685 complete with loader £1850, David Brown 996 complete with loader £1300. Plant vehicles sold to £12,500 for a JCB 5200-40 loadall, £5000 for a mini digger, £4600 for a JCB mini digger and £4400 for a JCB 2CX.
Vehicles sold to £2650 for a DAF 7.5 tone lorry, £1450 for a Suzuki Carry Van, £920 Landrover Discovery, £740 Suzuki Vitara. Several ATV’s and Gators were forward selling to £2900 for a Kawasaki Mule, £1750 Honda quad bike and £1400 for a Yamaha quad.
Machinery items and equipment continue to attract keen interest, with well-maintained items and seasonal equipment always in demand and easily sold. A Conor 1600 tanker achieved £4200, Lely rake £2800, post knocker £2500, Vicon rake £2400, Pottinger silage wagon £2300, Wessex paddock sweeper £1500, Abbey muck spreader £1500 and Amazone fertilizer spreader also selling at £1500.
Over 40 trailers of all shapes and sizes were offered for sale and sold to £4100 for a low loader plant trailer, £2700 for an Ifor Williams flatbed trailer, £1550 Graham Edwards livestock trailer, £1550 for an 8 tone tipping trailer, £1500 for a Archated bale trailer, £1450 for a 6 tone tipping trailer and £1400 for a small sheep/calf trailer.
Other items of interest included a Lunar caravan achieving £3100, diesel generator/pump £1050, Rolls Royce generator £800, calf creep feeder £620, portable water tanks £620, cement mixer £550 and card baler £520.
