There was a bumper entry of pigs today with 132 forward.  Prime pigs full of meat were keenly bid for topping at £135 for a pen of four from W Stamper, Chipping, with prime hoggs selling to £128 fom GM & DJ Pye, Arkholme and many Prime pigs regularly selling to the £120 mark.

A big show of weaners were forward, with a selective trade, with buyers keen to purchase well grown weaners. Trade topped at £42 from D Broadman, Broughton. With many pens of weaners selling in the mid to late £30 mark.
