The December monthly sale of Machinery had over 1000 lots forward for the sale attracting buyers from throughout the north of England, seeing large and small items eagerly bid for and well sold.

It was great to have over a dozen vehicles on the yard topping at £2750 for a Camatso 2ton mini digger, with a 26ft Fraser Bale Trailer selling to £2350. A large number of trailers in the yard sold to a top of £1600 for 12ft Ifor Williams Livestock Trailer with Graham Edwards Flatbed Trailers topping at £1450. A number of quad bikes in the yard saw an Arctic Cat top at £1500. Vans sold to a top of £1500 for a 2006 Vauxhall Vivaro.

As per usual, livestock equipment was in strong demand and eagerly bid for and more could have been sold to the advantage of the vendor. A consignment of Concrete panels met plenty of demand, selling to a strong trade. The tools, small equipment and implement inside, once again, sold to a buoyant trade.

There was over 200 lots of poultry forward for the sale, which saw a slightly tougher trade than what we had seen in sales earlier in the year, although the majority of vendors left satisfied. The next sale of poultry will take place on Saturday 28th January.
