STORE CATTLE- Where there’s muck there’s brass

Today’s store cattle sale featured a very mixed bag in terms of quality however to someone of partial vision this wouldn’t be obvious as big numbers rang out from the offset.

Aberdeen Angus bullocks topped at £2040 for a pair from MT Howarth of Woodlea Farm. The same good home had their bullocks at £1880. Hereford heifers sored to £1980 again from Messrs Riley. Charolais heifers got to £1940 from JE Wightman.

Younger Charolais at a mere 10-month-old sold to £1960 from RW Wilson of Gill Garth. Even younger Limousin bulls from CM & CS Chappelhow hit £1510 at just 7 month old of age.
