North West Auction held its annual in lamb sale of pedigree sheep on behalf of the Beltex sheep society. The pre-sale show was kindly judged by Mr Ali Jackson, Maulscatle who made the following prize awards:

The sale topped at 1800gns for the show champion from SWM Wood, Aberdeenshire selling Woodies Happy Girl, scanned in lamb carrying twins to Swffryd Eyecatcher. Other shearlings sold to 700gns from TC Whiteford, Brampton. Ewes sold to 350gns from K Williams, Gwynedd.

The sale of Badger Face Texels saw gimmer hoggs sell to 850gns from SWM Wood, Aberdeenshire with others at 750gns from H Pedley, Kirkby Stephen.
