The opening sale of Machinery, Tools and Implements at Lancaster had the largest entry of items forward see for some time, with 270 going under the gavel. There was a large crowd forward to ensure that all types of items attracted plenty of interest and bidding. The trade topped at £1000 for an Ifor Williams Horse Trailer 505 with a Conor 750 Muck Spreader selling to £980 with a grain trailer selling to £880. Smaller items saw a small sheep trailer achieve £350, with a flail topper selling to £310. The small items topped at £185 for a clay pigeon shoot and clays with a plainer to £110 and rolls of sheep netting achieving £95. Vendors went away pleased with their trade in which more good quality items could have easily been sold.
