A smaller show of ewes forward with all keenly bid for, first cross Texels sold to £142 from JE Harrison, Winmarleigh with Cheviots to £132 from RG&H Preece, Roeburndale. Mules topped at £122 from S&J France, Over Wyresdale who sold a pen of Dalebreds to £112.
SHEEP WITH LAMBS AT FOOT
The biggest show of ewes and lambs this season, with a busy ring side of buyers ensuring a flying trade from start to finish. Aged Texel ewes with twin Beltex lambs from H Swale, St Michaels sold to £292 with a pen of Texel ewes with twin Texel lambs from J&S Winstanley, Clifton selling to £288. A Beltex ewe with a super single Beltex lamb from H Swale, St Michaels sold to £275, Mule ewes with Texel single lambs from the same good home sold to £265. A pen of broken mouthed Mule ewes with Texel lambs from D&K Swarbrick, Out Rawcliffe sold to £266.
