Sale of Dressed Christmas Poultry exceeded all expectations with Turkeys selling to £125 from R Hodgson, Dent and DJ & E Barton, Arkholme with other heavy turkeys regularly exceeding £100. All turkeys sold to average of £65 acquainting to £4.50-£5 a pound. Geese sold to £100 from W Birbeck, Kirby Stephen with Chickens to £35 from FW & JJ Jenkinson, Eagland Hill.
