The monthly collective sale of small tools and machinery attracted an entry of over 1200 lots which once again attracted buyers from throughout the northern counties.

Well maintained grassland machinery and equipment was easily sold with a Lely Lotus Tedder selling at £4200, Welger RP12 Baler £1550, 2 Drum Mowers £340, Conventional Baler £470 and a PZ Tedder £320. Other miscellaneous machinery sold to £1150 for a 3 Furrow Reversible Plough, £650 for a 4 Berth Dog Trailer, £500 for a Mounted Crop Sprayer and £300 for a Lister Saw Bench.

Livestock equipment sold to £3000 for a Silo Kingfeeder Wagon, Ifor Williams DP120 Livestock Trailer £2500, Calf Creep Feeder £870, IAE Hogg Feeder £560 and a Cattle Crush £500.

Builders equipment achieved £2000 for an Ifor Williams Tipping Trailer, an Indespension Trailer £540, a Flat bed trailer £450, Generator £440, Stone Gate Stoops £420 and a Metal Laithe £260.

There were several vehicles forward and achieving good prices. A Leyland 802 (2wd) Tractor sold for £3400, Iveco Flatbed Van £750 and a Ford Transit Van £580.

There was plenty of interest in the small tools auction with something for everyone on offer. Also today was an auction of shrubs, bedding plants and trees which all sold well and would look value for money.

The next sale on Saturday 7th July will include the sale of Poultry, Watefowl, Hatching Eggs and Equipment.
