ONLINE SALE OF REGISTERED FELL PONIES ON BEHALF OF THE
BRACKLINN, DRYBARROWS AND GREENHOLME STUDS
North West Auctions were once again delighted to host the second online sale of Registered Fell ponies on behalf of the Bracklinn, Drybarrows and Greenholme Studs.
Again the sale attracted interest from all over the United Kingdom, Europe and America, with 5 ponies now off to their new homes in America. The sale attracted over 150 active bidders and 31 successful purchasers this year.
The sale topped at £4100 for Greenholme Roxanne, a very smart bay filly foal by Greenholme Diego from the Greenholme Stud, closely followed by £3500 for an excellent black filly foal, Drybarrows Imperial, by Banksgate Jupiter, who is off to America along with Bracklinn Phoebe, a grey yearling filly by Carrock I’m Yer Man who sold for £2500.
Drybarrows Icon and Drybarrows Incognito both attracted many bids, finally selling for £2000 each to go over the water together to America.
Two much admired filly foals, Drybarrows Illustrious, a black filly by Drybarrows Exclusive, sold for £2200 and Greenholme Rebecca II, a grey filly by Greenholme Neil sold for £2000, both staying in this country. Bracklinn Jolene, a sweet bay filly by Carrock I’m Yer Man attracted a final bid of £1500, this also being achieved by Bracklinn Sadie a black filly foal by Banksgate Jupiter.
Colt foals this year topped at £1500 for two very smart, showey types in Drybarrows Ironman, a grey by Drybarrows Exclusive and Bracklinn Royal Flush, again by Carrock I’m Yer Man.
The two licensed and working stallions, Greenholme Lancelot £3200 and Greenholme Orlando £2000 were both eagerly bid for and were secured to stay in this country and carry on working.
Lot 20, Greenholme Rufus, who the Greenholme Stud kindly sold with all proceeds going to Prostrate Cancer UK sold for £780, with both the Drybarrows and Bracklinn Studs kindly agreeing to match this amount also.
