The pre sale show was in the capable hands of Mr Tom Belfield, who we thank for his time and expertise. A great line up of sheep was put before our judge who awarded his champion rosette to the first prize gimmer shearling Mortons Gold Dust who was sired by Ryder Enrique ET and in lamb to Gyffin Dexter, which went on to sell for 1000gns. The reserve champion was awarded to the second place gimmer shearling, Artnagullion LIZ.G112 scanned twins to Glenview Goldie which sold to 1000gns. The sale topped at 1500gns for Utopia Des Quatre Vents Ai’d to Vickys Gladiator consigned by S Wood, Aberdeen. Other ewes sold to 1400gns for Rathbone Emily, scanned twins consigned by MR&JE Davis. There was a two-tiered trade with quality sheep with a good pedigree achieving maximum prices.
North West Auctions would like to take this opportunity to thank the Beltex Society for their continued support, our sale sponsors JG Animal Health and AB Europe and the vendors for the quality of sheep forward.
