Prime Pigs Sell to £120 at NWA J36

Prime pigs this week sold to a top price of £120 for Large White x Pietrain gilts from C & J Bennet, Preston with others selling to £118 from W Stamper, Chipping with GOS gilts from MK & LK Whitley & Son selling to £108. Top p/kg this week was 103p/kg for large white gilts from W Stamper, Chipping.

Cull sows sold to £95 & 35p/kg for large whites again from W Stamper, Chipping.

Weaners sold to a fast trade topping at £37 for GOS from MK & LK Whitley & Son, Harrogate with others at £36 from Acorn Venture Ltd, Merseyside.
