The opening machinery sale of 2020 saw a full yard of items on offer with buyers in attendance from all corners of the UK and Ireland. Vehicles and farm machinery sold to a competitive trade with well maintained items in keenest demand.
Farm machinery sold to £2220 for a Fleming M5100 muckspreader with an Abbey 2090 spreader achieving £1050 and a slurry tanker £1020, Fleming land roller £600, Malgar slurry stirrer £550, Foster topper £450, saw dust dispenser £400.
Livestock equipment sold to £2300 for a Pratley sheep handling system, £2300 for a 14ft Ifor Williams livestock trailer, £2100 12ft Ifor Williams livestock trailer, £880 Graham Edwards 12ft livestock trailer, £700 Ritchie cattle crush, £480 sheep feed trailer, £410 sheep turnover crate, £250 (8) cow cubicles, £250 lamb adopter, £250 bulk feed hopper, £170 pig arc, £140 sheep hay rack.
Builders equipment and tools sold to £1000 for a hydraulic heavy duty drill with a 12ft flatbed trailer also achieving £1000. An Ifor Williams 6ft trailer sold at £910 and a 6ft Indispension trailer £680. A hydraulic log splitter sold at £600, petrol generators to £210, circular saw £160, whacker plate £110.
An entry of 16 vehicles at this sale attracted keen bidding interest with new customers in attendance specifically drawn to this sale section.
A Landrover 110 (2003) sold at £5700, Ford Ranger Pick-up £2650, Ford Transit Van £1950, Landrover Discovery £1620, Vauxhall Corsa car £970. Agricultural vehicles sold to £5100 for a Case 895 4WD tractor with loader, a Polaris quad bike £1480, Honda quad bike £1180 and another Polaris quad bike £900.
The next sale of Machinery will be Saturday 1st February 2020 and will include a dispersal sale of 18 indoor racing go carts plus accessories.
Also this day is a sale of Poultry, Water Fowl, Hatching Eggs and Equipment alongside Trees, Bedding Plants, Shrubs and Bulbs.
