New Auction Mart
The development at Moss End for the New Kendal Auction Mart has started!
Finally, after years of planning, work has commenced on the "New Kendal Auction Mart" and Ancillary Business Units at Moss End Farm, Crooklands.
On 19 July 2011 the first diggers arrived on site to prepare the ground for the the massive cut and fill operation to level the site ready for the new main mart complex and three external business units. The first steelwork arrived in October and the development finally got out of the ground. By Christmas 2011 two of the three external letting units were roofed and blockwork completed, in the new year the main mart complex steelwork will be erected.
We will use this page to keep you all up to date with latest photographs (thanks Clive) taken each week which will build up in to a large Gallery (see right) charting this historic build. Each Gallery shows a different month of the build, we add more photos each week so keep checking back. We will also update the BLOG with latest news on the build so keep checking that page.
