The land is situated at Capplerigg, New Hutton, some 3 miles East of Kendal, as shown on the location plan. The land has access via a full right of way over a private lane directly off the council-maintained road (indicated blue on the plan).
From Kendal, take the A684 towards Sedbergh, pass the entrance to Hill Top on the right and the access lane to Capplerigg is found on the left, the gate to the land being found immediately on the right off this lane.
The land extends to 5.56 acres/2.25 hectares or thereabouts of meadow and pasture land being NG Ref SD5591 0196.
