Glass Front Arrives for the New Mart

Now the roof is on the front section of the mart, it's all systems go for first fix electrics and plumbing. The roof for the penning area arrives next week. We have spent time this week ensuring we have electrical and data points where we need them, and as there are 90 double network points alone plus power points there is a lot of things to think about. The glass frontage to the main building arrived this week and is already taking shape as can be seen on the latest pictures. The main penning is all in with just loading docks to complete and the main rings to install. Then follows two days of concrete pour to get the main surface in the penning area just as we need it, main areas will be specially tamped to assist with washing down.
You may be able to see on the latest pictures the first tarmac road has been laid with two further roads to complete in due course.
It may seem to some that there is still a lot to do before opening in August, but with over 30 workmen on site each day things are now moving at an incredible pace, with major changes taking place daily. Decorators have started painting some office areas already.
We are really pleased with the cafe and seminar room areas plus the flexibility of the exhibition space and removeable penning area, we know this will be a fantastic facility for farmers and agricultural business to use for meeting events, product launches and social gatherings etc., we cant wait to show you all around. Our lucky shareholders will be the first to see the almost finished site when we invite them to visit at the beginning of July, and as soon as we take official possession during August, we will of course be opening to the doors for several open-day events for all our customers and supporters.
