Sheep Tagging
We are now designated also as a Central Point Recording Centre, and are happy to sell your prime Sheep with either electronic or non-electronic tags.
Sheep “intended for slaughter at under 12 months of age” do not have to be electronically tagged; if they are, then we can record the movements for both vendor and purchaser. Electronically tagged sheep may also attract more bidders, and hence, a better price, due to ease of recording movement information.
If any of your sheep are NOT electronically tagged, then YOU will need to complete your AML1 movement document with the flock numbers for each different batch of sheep, to include the correct numbers of sheep with each ear tag.
We will NOT be responsible for any losses or errors arising out of incorrect movement information or documentation for non-electronically tagged sheep.
