Lancaster Dairy Sale

North West Auctions Lancaster held its monthly dairy which attracted strong local support. Judging this month was James Burrow ‘STARDALE’ who had 4 classes presented before him.

The championship rosette was awarded to W & G Cornthwaite for their heifer Garsby Classic Pandora 2 which later raced away to the days top price of £2600.

Reserve champion was Flashhouse Knowledge Gown from G & AE Smith & Sons which sold for £2000.

1st prize cow was from T Cowell, fresh into her 2nd lactation she reached a final bid of £2080 with Pennine Poppy 1018 from Drinkall Bros selling for £1900.

The winning pair of heifers from G & AE Smith & Sons ‘Alandrew herd’ both achieved £2000.

Once again at Lancaster there was a strong attendance of buyers keen to purchase stock, more can be sold every month.
