Lancaster Prime Stock

The early morning sale saw all pens full with well fleshed lambs continuing to sell to a premium with Texel’s to 217p/kg from D & DW Prickett with others 190p/kg – 205p/kg. Texel x Lambs sold to £89 from Bargh Contractors. All lambs sold averaged 168p/kg with buyers cautious of over fat/weight lambs.

Cast sheep sold to £86 for best continentals with others £70-£75. Mules £50 - £62 with hill ewes £43 - £48.

Prime Bulls sold to 213p/kg for best suckler bred sorts from A Clark & Johnson with others at £1216.
