The inaugural evening prize show and sale of pedigree inlamb sheep at North West Auctions J36 saw a ringside full of buyers from throughout the northern counties. A feature of this sale was the prize show of in-lamb Suffolk sheep with a fantastic entry of quality sheep put before the judge, Miss Andrea Neale who awarded the championship rosette to a 1 crop ewe scanned with twins from R Batty, Kendal. The ewe has enjoyed many show successes with the most noticeable being the 2012 interbreed championship at the Westmorland County Show, she later sold for the sales top price of 700gns to K & M Denby, Longtown. Other notable prices were achieved being 620gns for the 2nd prize ewe scanned with twins from TA Blair, Thornton Cleveleys. Ewe lambs sold to 300gns for the first prize lamb from TA Blair.

The pre-sale Show was kindly judge by Miss Andrea Neale (Mary Port)
