Visit to J36 Rural Auction Centre by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales

By Katie Black, 12 April 2014 –

It has been a wonderful week for all the staff, directors and tenants at J36.  We welcomed a visit by HRH The Prince of Wales on Wednesday 9 April where he met with directors, staff, tenants, customers both old and young and saw a special auction of Herdwick Sheep, a breed close to the Princes heart.  After a tour of the 1818 Auctioneers saleroom and a cup of tea in the cafe, the Prince went through to the function room to chat with all our staff then to unveil a plaque commemorating his visit.
