1818 Auctioneers
Valuing the Lake District since 1818
1818 Auctioneers can trace its routes back nearly 200 years to when auctions of chattels were originally held in the town centre market hall (now Westmorland shopping centre) before moving to the auction mart on Appleby Road in the 1980's. The saleroom has just recently relocated to the brand new J36 Rural Auction Centre at Crooklands, just 1 minute from the M6 motorway.
All auctions are now held in the purpose designed state of the art saleroom, complete with all the comforts of a retail environment, including a large screen displaying lots up for auction, fitted carpets and central heating.
